Adeara Receives a Brand New Van!

Supporting others is one of the core tenets at Legacy Dodge Wetaskiwin, so we’re shining the spotlight on a very deserving business, Adeara.

Adeara has worked fearlessly to transform the lives of women who have been struggling with addiction, poverty, trauma, and abuse. The need for addiction recovery services in our community continues to grow, and they’ve set some daring goals to help us build for the future.

In an effort to help Adeara, Legacy Dodge Wetaskiwin has donated a brand new 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. We know that having reliable transportation will serve as a tool towards them being able to provide more services to vulnerable women.

We’re proud of the work Carine Kanangire – Facility Manager, Mark Evans – Vice President, and all Adeara staff put in each day. It’s a wonderful partnership to have with you all.

Denise Soosay, Fundraiser Success

Recent Update: July 30,  2018

On Saturday, $3,000 was raised to help the mother who lost three of her daughters in June’s fatal car crash near Wetaskiwin, AB during a Silent Auction and BBQ fundraiser at Legacy Dodge Wetaskiwin this past weekend.

“We’ve got a lot of help from the community to pull this off and raise money for her. And hopefully it’ll help her,” said General Manager, Ross North.

Denise Soosay, mother of the girls says, “they were my special babies and now they’re angels.”
Among the donations which were raised, the Legacy Auto Group has also donated a Jeep Liberty to Denise. CBC News joined us for the event, as did the local paper. It was great to have your participation!

On behalf of all of us at Legacy Dodge Wetaskiwin, we send our condolences to Denise and her family, and we also thank Safeway for donating a portion of the food for the BBQ, local residents making donations, and everyone who came out to support Denise. Sincerely, we thank you all.

We’re hosting a silent auction & BBQ fundraiser for Denise Soosay and her youngest daughter, to help them make transitions after the devastating loss of Cheyanne, Dominique, and Latesha who tragically lost their lives in a fatal car crash last month.

After meeting with Denise, she shared with us that she and her youngest daughter would like to move to a new home and we’re hoping to help make that a little easier on her.
